Johannes Church

The Johanneskirche, Düsseldorf's largest Protestant church, impresses with its 88-meter-high tower at Martin-Luther-Platz 39. Built between 1875 and 1881 in the style of neo-Romanesque architecture, it was reopened in 1953 after World War II destruction. Modern expansions, including a glass pulpit and a redesigned foyer, connect history with contemporary design. Today, the Johanneskirche serves as a place for devotion and cultural events.
