Washington (George) Park

Washington Park is a 372-acre historic park on the South Side of Chicago. It features the DuSable Museum of African American History, Lorado Taft's Fountain of Time, and a National Guard armory. The park offers activities such as riding stables, cricket grounds, baseball fields, a toboggan slide, archery ranges, a golf course, a swimming pool, bicycle paths, row boats, horseshoe pits, greenhouses, a rose garden, a bandstand, a small zoo with six alligators, and a lily pond.
