South Shore Cultural Center
The South Shore Cultural Center is a multi-purpose facility recognized as a Chicago Landmark and listed on the National Register. It is located in the South Shore community along Lake Michigan. The center was founded in 1905 and rebuilt in 1916, before being restored in 1975 by the Chicago Park District to its amenities accessible to the public.
