The Brasília Choro Club is an association dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of this musical genre. Located in the Monumental Axis, it is next to the Brasília Planetarium and the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center, a building whose dressing room was transformed into the club's first headquarters. After years of abandonment in the 1980s, the headquarters was revitalized, and the club regained its relevance, with a new headquarters designed by Oscar Niemeyer completed in 2011.
