Liebesinsel
Liebesinsel is a protected sand island in the Spree that provides a home to many animals, including birds, swans, ducks, cormorants, beavers, and otters. Access to the island is prohibited to protect the fauna and flora. The island is being renaturalized and equipped with breakwater rings to ensure its long-term preservation. It is part of Treptower Park in Berlin.
