Flakturm Humboldthain
The Flakturm in Humboldthain is an impressive relic from the Second World War and a popular viewpoint in Berlin. The massive bunker with its two flak towers was designed by the Nazis as an air defense tower to protect the population from air raids. Today, the tower is a refuge for bats and a place that reminds of the horrors of war.
