National Monument
The National Monument on Dam Square in Amsterdam is an imposing monument in memory of all victims of World War II. It was designed by architect J.J.P. Oud and consists of a pylon with sculptures and a memorial wall with reliefs. It is an important location for the annual National Remembrance Day on May 4 and attracts many visitors.
