Waag
The Waag on the Nieuwmarkt in Amsterdam is an imposing historic brick building decorated with various limestone ornaments. Once serving as a city gate and later as a weighing house, over the years it fulfilled various functions, including guildhall and anatomical theater. This important monument carries with it a rich history and remains a landmark in the city.
